A tour through the Lower East Side which would include the stories of what life was like following the arrival at Ellis Island in the Goldene Medina for the Eastern European Jewish migration to the US. Stops would include the Yiddish Forward Building, Eldridge St Synagogue, Jarmulowsky Bank, Kletzker Mutual Aid Society, the building where the Gershwin brothers grew up, Hester Street, the Tenement Museum, and a view of the Williamsburg Bridge, once known as the Jews’ bridge. Also includes nosh-stops include tastings at Kossar’s Biyalis and Pickle Guys.
